Yesterday, Politico’s Elena Schneider joined Garrett Hake on MSNBC to discuss her reporting on American Bridge’s recent ad buy in the key battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.
The ads feature women – several, former Republicans – in each of these states talking about how Joe Biden is delivering real results, including creating a record setting 6.6 million jobs in his first year in office and lowering costs for families.
Garrett Haake, MSNBC: “So is this a case of trying to change the overall political environment as opposed to trying to help individual House and Senate Democrats in some of these places?”
Elena Schneider, Politico: “That’s that’s exactly it. By boosting Biden, the idea is that it’s going to lift all boats and it’s going to help Democrats in several of these key states. These are also – these four states are all places that Biden won in 2020. So the idea is that these are voters who might be open to a positive message about the President and therefore might think positively about Democrats who are also running in these midterm races.”
