MAGA extremist Hung Cao will face battle-tested Democratic incumbent Tim Kaine in tonight’s Virginia Senate debate. With just one month remaining before Election Day, Cao continues to lag behind in the polls and has struggled to gain traction among voters. His inability to gain ground in the polls can largely be attributed to controversial stances on key issues such as abortion and health care, as well as disparaging remarks about rural Virginians, whom he has referred to as “podunk.” Moreover, his recent comments expressing fears about witchcraft taking over Virginia have raised serious concerns among voters about his suitability as a representative in the Senate.
“Hung Cao is ten points behind in this race because Virginians don’t want a weird and extreme Republican representing them in the Senate,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Nico Delgado. “Cao has insulted rural Virginia, cooked up weird conspiracy theories about witchcraft, and tonight will serve as more proof that he is unfit for this job.”
Here’s what you need to know about Hung Cao:
- Cao set up a scam PAC where he pledged to support Republican candidates running in Virginia, but he ended up supporting himself.
