Connecticut-based hedge fund manager Dave McCormick will debate against Democratic incumbent Senator Bob Casey, who, unlike Dave McCormick, has lived in Pennsylvania his entire life. McCormick, who lost to Dr. Oz in the GOP primary the last time he tried to run for Senate, is on track to lose again as his problematic history of being a horrible boss at Bridgewater is catching up with him. As a CEO of the hedge fund, McCormick intimidated his own workers who reported sexual assault and invested billions into China, strengthening their military. Throughout the campaign, Dave McCormick has lied about his upbringing and has not missed an opportunity to remind voters that he’s not actually from Pennsylvania.
“Dave McCormick is going to meet the same fate as the other carpetbagger he lost to two years ago,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Nico Delgado. “McCormick was a terrible boss who intimidated his own workers, screwed over teachers and sold out to China – and he’d make for an even worse senator. That’s why yet again, Pennsylvanians won’t hire him on Election Day.”
