Leviticus 11:7: “And the swine [pig], though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.”
After last week’s report that Speaker Mike Johnson won’t condemn slavery because of his “Christian faith,” and that the Bible is his “world view,” people are now asking: Will Johnson condemn those who, on Super Bowl Sunday, touch a football, i.e. the pigskin?
According to Leviticus 11:7: “And the swine [pig], though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.”
Will Speaker Johnson call on all players and personnel to wear gloves? Will he call on the nation to stop touching footballs with their bare hands? Johnson previously praised Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for saying his purpose for playing football was about “glorifying him [God].”
